R. E., for an appointment. R.E.,
or Overecen, in the Public Works Department. He has been stationed several years
in
Hongkong in charge of works carried out by the Royal Engineer Department, and is very highly
recommended by Lieutenant Colonel Champernowne, &. E., and others under whom he has served.
